Directs, supervises and coordinates functions and activities of the hospital laboratory. Consults with and advises Administration on problems related to the operations of assigned responsibility areas. Develops policy and procedures and QA reports. Participate in Infection Control process. Supervises, coordinates and evaluates the system and staff responsible for collection and processing of specimens to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment of disease. Consults with pathologists regarding compliance with regulations, standards and changes in test procedures. Per Diem-Non Exempt (Day 9am-7:30pm) Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

The LVN is a member of the nursing team who functions under the direction guidance and supervision of the Nurse Practitioner, Rural Health Clinic Medical Director, and the general supervision of the Rural Health Clinic coordinator. The LVN, with guidance, assists in providing and evaluating nursing care for patients and in coordinating nursing care activities with other health care disciplines.

Qualifications:

  1. Current California LVN Licensure in good standing

  3. 5 + years of experience in a nursing environment preferable

Physical Therapist

Responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for physical therapy treatment, formulation of treatment plan and goals, and administration of the physical therapy treatments. The Physical Therapist shall be active in inpatient and outpatient services and shall interact with all hospital departments and medical staff.

Under the direction of a radiologist, performs various radiographic exams at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner – Rural Health Clinic

Full Time-Exempt

The Nurse Practitioner assumes primary health care of specific patients under the general direction of the Rural Health Clinic Medical Director. The incumbent follows established nursing standards, procedures and practices and gives specific patient care directions to nursing staff. The Nurse practitioner will examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, administer or order diagnostic tests, develop and implement patient management plans, document progress notes, as well as performing appropriate charting and other documentation. The Nurse Practitioner will also treat common episodic and health care conditions with an emphasis on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Qualifications:

  1. Can provide documentation of a minimum of 600 hours or postgraduate onsite supervised primary care experience within the past three years in the pediatric age group to be served. Supervision of the 600 hours must have been by a family practice or pediatric physician or an internal medicine specialist who serves children 14 years of age and older. The documentation for this requirement may be, at a minimum, provided in up-to-date curriculum vitae.
  2. Current and valid California State RN and Nurse Practitioner license required.
  3. Current BLS for Healthcare Workers (American Heart Association) required.
  4. Current DEA and Furnishing License required.
  5. Possess written protocols that describe the review process by the physician of record when examination findings are suspect or abnormal.
  6. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  7. Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsible for consultation and direction of speech pathology in the Skilled Nursing Facility. Performs diagnostic evaluations of residents with communication disorders. Administers speech and language treatment to residents. Interprets findings and treatment to resident’s families, teachers or other concerned parties. Provides guidance and counseling. Plans and conducts remedial programs designed to improve or restore communicative facility. Administers treatment in individual or group sessions with residents. May refer residents to specialists in medicine, dentistry, psychology, education or related areas. Qualifications:

  1. Current California State Speech Language Pathologist license
